About Pine Crest Fabrics

Pine Crest Fabrics first opened their doors in 1978, specializing in knit fabrics, with a focus on spandex blended fabrics as the "major product group." Purchasing excess stretch fabric overruns from mills, Pine Crest Fabrics concentrated on building promotional fabric inventories and reselling knits to apparel manufacturers at great prices. Over time, Pine Crest has become a major buyer and seller of excess fabric inventories, and today continues as such with its Promotional Fabrics.

Pine Crest Fabrics introduced a re-orderable line of spandex blended fabrics in 1991. The line of spandex products grew into nylon spandex prints, holograms and foil tricots, stretch velvets, and matte and shiny solid tricots. Swatch cards are available for all of our stocked fabrics and our complete collection is contained within a Product Book binder, which is available for $75.

In an effort to serve more specialized customer requests, Pine Crest introduced a collection of custom made designs known as Fahrenheit®. The Fahrenheit® line consists mainly of prints with hologram, foil and glitter finishes giving it a "one of a kind" special look. All Fahrenheit® styles can be sampled, after which a 300 to 500 yard production run is required.

Print Converting was added in late 1999 and today the company has a complete art studio located in the Chatsworth, California (Los Angeles area) office. Pine Crest can develop custom designed prints, printed on any chosen base cloth. 1000 yard minimum productions are required for custom designs.

A new division, called Pick A Print, was added in 2006 and has blossomed into a versatile and reliable print program, empowering customers choose a print from our online library (containing 1000’s of prints) and pick a base cloth from one our 14 stocked fabrics. Production is usually ready to ship within 3 weeks and order minimums are only 50 yards! Prices range from $5.95 to $9.95 depending on the selected base fabric. A base cloth card featuring our available stocked base cloths for printing is available upon request.
